He is the architect, engineer, interior decorator, locksmith, carpenter, frame maker and much more to this platform. He only knows too well what comes with an artistic process and what it takes to create a finished work. That's also why art24.world is full of euphoria, dedication, hope and dreams as well as tears and despair. 

His creativity is particularly needed when unexpected challenges need to be solved. But no worries: Sebastian always finds the best solution with his wide range of skills and experience.

Sebastian, since when have you been involved in the art24.world project? 

In the autumn of 2019, I was contacted by my long-time business partner Pierre Portmann. He asked me if I would be interested in working on an exciting project in the field of art. After a few conversations it was clear to me, art24 as a vision and start-up will be my next challenge. In December 2019, I started to work on a platform concept from the art24.world vision paper. This concept was the basis for today's art24.world platform. 

What is your highlight of the last 26 months concerning art24.world? 

My personal highlight so far was the event on Mount Pilatus. Here I was able to show the investors, partners and friends of art24 how far the platform had already progressed and show them where the journey is heading. The moderation by Reto Brennwald, good conversations and a good aperitif (wink) made the event complete. 

Which two or three functions will you and your development team be adding to art24.world in the next three months? 

Shortly after the go-live on the 22.2.22, we will activate the "Augmented Reality" function, which allows users to place works at home or elsewhere true to scale in the room. 

During the go-live, we as a project team focused on artists and prioritised functions for artists. In the next phase, we will give art collectors the opportunity to present and sell their works on art24.world.  

As a third focus point, we will take care of the extension of the filters, which will allow users to search even more precisely for their desired artwork.
