The newly founded artist collective "Pink Rider" will open an exhibition for the first time on June 17, 2022 at 7:30 pm at the "Galerie am Richard Wagner Weg" in Lucerne. The group was founded this spring by Maria Fernanda Schulz and aims to promote women in art and make their work visible. The art collective consists of artists from Switzerland, Colombia, Italy, Austria, Germany, and Chile, all of whom reside in and around Lucerne.

The idea to create a collective of women artists was born from the desire to promote the art of women in Switzerland, giving space to different artistic expressions. A multinational group of women artists has emerged, who would like to initiate an active dialogue not only among themselves, but also with the public. The first exhibition of the artists' collective Pink Rider provides an insight into the work of each individual artist. At the same time it shows that art as a connecting element is able to unite different worlds.
The Pink Riders produce art that comes from an exciting mix of different backgrounds and cultures. Maria Fernanda Schulz explains, "Art is about creating out of joy and out of our roots, no matter where we come from or what our artistic backgrounds are." On display at the exhibition will be works by Iris Manguluri, Marcela Adasme Maria Fernanda Schulz, Tamara Krieger, Ulli Moser, Manuela Battafarano.
